Master Thesis writing

Master thesis or diploma thesis is the final thesis of the second level of university studies. It presents more extensive professional work, whose preparation and defense is one of the conditions for the student to obtain an academic degree. Work should bring new knowledge and benefit in the field.

In Europe, its defense is one of the prerequisites for the completion of the master’s and engineer’s, respectively. doctoral study in medicine and veterinary medicine. It forms part of the state final exam. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to verify the mastery of professional theoretical and practical knowledge, professional terminology, use of scientific methods in solving problems of the given field of science. The thesis supervisor participates only methodically, while meeting the student during consultations during the preparation of the thesis. The trainer should also supervise the correct preparation of the trainer, read the individual chapters before handing it over and notify the student of its shortcomings. Among other things, he should draw the student’s attention to possible plagiarism.

Unlike the bachelor thesis, the diploma thesis will be elaborated with a greater extent and higher quality of the topic being studied and the complexity of writing. As a rule, it is drawn up in writing and transmitted in printed form in multiple copies. The extent of the thesis is usually about 50-80 pages. Additional material that may not be placed directly in the text, e.g. Extensive tables, maps, illustrations or special materials such as technical equipment or program manuals, or additional literature can be attached to the attachment for work.
